Questions

Fees and NHIA questions

Why are your fees lower than other private clinics?

We keep the building simple, buy generic medicines in bulk and run on a lot of community goodwill. The care is the same; we just don't add extras you don't need.

Do I have to pay before I see the doctor?

Private patients pay the consultation fee at registration. Tests and medicines are explained and priced before you pay for them, so there are no surprises.

I'm on NHIA. Is anything not covered?

Most consultations, routine lab tests, antenatal care and normal delivery are covered. A few medicines and tests fall outside the NHIA list, and we always tell you first and offer the cheapest option.

Can I pay for antenatal care and delivery in parts?

Yes. Many mothers pay the delivery package in instalments during pregnancy. Ask Matron to set up a simple plan at your booking visit.

Are the free screening days really free?

Yes. BP, blood sugar and malaria tests and health advice on outreach days cost nothing. If you need a follow-up visit, you'll get a slip for half the usual consultation fee.
